I am new to photography like just started yesterday need a good starter Camera?

First off let me just say I hate taking pictures. However every time a friend says hey take our picture they tend to be really good, SO now I'm the designated photographer at family functions and trips to Disney, but I only have an Olympus Fe that I got on woot.com for a killer deal. I want a decent starter Camera so I can Finlay get into the picture taking thing, I don't like it but think I could start to if I had a decent Camera that was simple and easy and took good pictures. I seem to have an eye for it and I'm thinking this would be a good hobby. thanks in advance for your help
