I want my dog to pee in the front yard but he WON'T?

Take him out as soon as he gets you and make it easy for him to get you when he needs you. Take him right where you want him to go and he probably will if he has not made a mistake. As soon as he goes, give him a command like "do your business." Keep doing this for a while and say it right as he does it, then offer praise when he is done so that he will finish. Do not punish him in the house, but if you catch him, interrupt him by having him sit and then take him to the right spot and tell him his command so he can finish. If you do find a mess and you clean it, you can take the soaked rags to his spot so that spot will have the scent. I also recommend Nature's Miracle to fully clean the spot so that he doesn't want to continue going in the house where it smells like his bathroom. And, I typically clean the mess when the dog is outside to prevent some potential behavior problems that can happen if he watches you cleaning it.
