If God is everywhere and everything,is He sleeping on the job?

Or He just does not understand or care about our needs,i mean He has no needs,He just gratifies Himself with storms and volcano eruptions and Sodom and Babel Tower,He has the power,all of it,He said there was no other way when His own Son asked Him,don t let them kill me!He who has the power to control food and water for the people can claim himself God,can claim that he be worship by his people,can decide who lives and who dies.Perhaps God would understand human nature better if when He decides to go to Earth with no power of healing Himself or rising the dead,let me se Him now!
