My little boy got a nose bleed last night at 6th months old?

after coughing bloody mucus came out of his mouth.im really worried about him but i was told its probably due to a dry septum or something like that. he has a dr. apt i just want to make sure this is something not to be worried about. the whole time i was trying to get the nose bleed to stop be was laughing and talking in his baby babel. i think hes ok but im also a very worried mom.
