Should I buy the morning-after pill if I had unprotected sex 24 hours after taking my last birth control pill?

Just ran out of actual birth control pills but will be taking the placebo pills for the week designated for your period. What are the odds of me becoming pregnant and should I shell out the cash for the morning-after pill?
