Why Doesn't God Punish Lawbreakers As He Once Did?

Did God stop or did people stop listening? The world has certainly changed and as the Bible says the world waxes worse. I have not met many who rightly divide the word of God or who stand for God at all and for them church is more of an illusion. The Bible also says for I am the Lord, thy God and I change not.
