Why isn't god knocking down all our planes or skyscrapers down?

God got mad about the Towers of Babel because he didn't want them to rich the heavens, and most people believe heaven is on clouds, than why isn't he knocking down all our planes that fly higher than clouds and or some skyscrapers in what I would imagine is higher than tower Babel, I know that 9/11 happened but that was only a few planes and a few towers, whats the deal? By the way 9/11 was bad, and I do not support such things, just trying to make a point and I am sure a lot of you would have brought up 9/11.
